MR Racing takes Audi RS3 Sportback to over 390kW

Just how far can you take an Audi RS3 Sportback? MR Racing shows us how.

With a first stage kit that includes an ECU tune and a custom made stainless steel sport exhaust system, the turbocharged 2.5-litre five cylinder engine in the RS3 now punches out a potent 330kW and 653Nm, up from the 273kW and 465Nm it comes from factory with.

This should trim a few tenths off the RS3’s official 0-100km/h time of 4.3 seconds. But if that’s still not enough to impress, MR Racing will boost the hot hatch up even further with a second stage tune. This brings a larger intercooler, high-pressure fuel pump and upgraded turbocharger on top of a remap ECU.

The result is a monstrous 393kW and 700Nm, enough to rocket the RS3 from 0 to 100km/h in around 3.5 seconds and bump its top speed to an unrestricted 300km/h.

To convey its supercar-slaying performance, MR Racing has given the RS3 a Martini-inspired body wrap and 19-inch lightweight “traffic red” wheels shod in 235/35 R19 Pirelli tyres. Elsewhere, a set of height-adjustable KW Clubsport coilover suspension keeps things tidy around the corners.
