Audi A5 Cabriolet customised by Caractere

Caractere, the Belgian based tuner specialising in the customisation of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles, has unveiled its latest styling kit for the 2012 Audi A5 Cabrio.

The A5 Cabrio is treated to a complete body kit that includes a redesigned front bumper with larger air intakes, chunkier side skirts, a redesigned rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and optional muffler and a pair of large restyled stainless steel exhaust pipes.

Evidently, the makeover would not be complete without a set of light weight Caractere CW1 wheels, finished in either silver or graphite, and available in 19, 20 or 21-inch size.

Of course, with the athletic styling, the transformation wouldn’t be complete without some performance upgrade. So Caractere is offering an additional plug-in power box with undisclosed specifications, that the tuner said is “specific to your car, operates within the manufacturers’ tolerance limits, enhances the performance of your engine (power and torque) and reduces its consumption”.
