With 331 kW of power and 600 Nm of torque pumping from a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, the Audi RS 4 packs supercar performance in a family-friendly wagon body. It’s able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, en route to a top speed of 250 km/h. With the optional RS dynamic package, the top speed increases to 280 km/h.
Want more? ABT Sportsline is here to help. Enter the ABT RS4-R, the world’s most powerful wagon packing 390kW and 690Nm of torque. Relying on a multi-stage performance package for the RS4-R, the upgrades consist of an additional engine control unit, the ABT Engine Control (AEC), and a high-performance sports exhaust system.
With the extra punch, the RS4 rockets from standstill to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds, before maxing out at 300km/h. With its four 102 mm carbon tailpipes, it also soars to new heights visually and acoustically.
That this is no normal RS 4, though, can also be seen at first glance thanks to an extensive aerodynamic package. Making visual statement are ABT Front Lip, side canards, blacked out grille with RS4-R logo, side air breathers and a rear skirt add on.
While the Audi RS 4 boasts 19-inch wheels in the standard form, ABT Sportsline ups the ante with 21 inches rollers. The athletically styled ABT SPORT GR lightweight alloy rim is wrapped in 275/25 ZR21 rubber all round.
Suspension work comes in the form of ABT sport stabilizers and ABT height adjustable springs. A complete coilover suspension system with a special ABT shock sbsorber setup is currently under development in cooperation with partner KW automotive. This setup is claimed to provide a sporty-dynamic driving experience without neglecting comfort.
Inside, the ABT RS4-R gains leather seats with a prominent RS5-R logo, ABT Gear Shift Cover and plenty of carbon fibre trim pieces.
The ABT performance pack is available now for all RS 4 owners, though priced at 29,900€, it comes at a high cost.
