Volkswagen teases new Arteon four-door coupe

Volkswagen has released a couple of teaser images of its upcoming CC replacement, the Volkswagen Arteon.

The first teaser image shows the four-door coupe’s front fascia, which is identical to the leaked images we published last year. It’s a similar story with the second image, which gives us a glimpse of the production car’s taillight and partial profile.

Despite its sleek profile and sloping roofline, Volkswagen says the Arteon’s interior is “exceptionally generously spacious”.

Built on Volkswagen’s flexible MQB platform, the Arteon will come with the latest generation of driver assistance systems, while under the bonnet we can expect a range of engines closely aligned with the Passat. A hybrid variant is also a possibility although that will unlikely to make it to Australia.

The Volkswagen Arteon will bow in at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
