Volkswagen has released a few teaser images of its upcoming EV concept which is schedule to hit the show stands at the Paris Motor Show next month.

Billed as a ‘revolutionary’ vehicle that will take the Volkswagen brand into ‘a new era’, the EV concept previews the company’s first production electric car to be based on the new modular electrification kit (MEB) platform.

From the teaser images, Volkswagen new EV should take the form of a hatch that will either be similar in size or slightly smaller than the Volkswagen Golf.

Its distinctive LED headlights with individual LEDs that appear to be able to form different designs could likely signal something new to come. At the back, a similar LED-infused taillight takes centre stage.
