Pagani has used Instagram to release a teaser of the upcoming Huayra Roadster ahead of its Geneva debut in March.

The single shadowy image shows an engraved ‘Roadster’ emblem on an unknown component finished in champagne gold.

The Italian supercar maker has remained tight-lipped about details but it’s expected the open top Huayra will share the same power unit as the coupe – a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 engine sourced from AMG tweaked slightly to boost output to 750hp (559kW).

Apart from the added power, the Huayra Roadster is also said to be lighter than its roofed sibling thanks to a stiffened chassis.

The Roadster will introduce several visual changes as part of a mid-life facelift, which will include a new rear diffuser and aerodynamic flics above the taillights.
