While the Huayra may be the latest and greatest from Pagani, there’s still life in the Zonda yet, as evident is this one-off ZondaZoZo”.

The model was specially commissioned by Yusaku Maezaw, founder of Japanese online fashion mall, Zozotown, from which the name of the car is derived.

According to Prototype Zero, the ZoZo isn’t a mere cosmetic upgrade of an existing Zonda. The car has a new carbon titanium chassis and features all the 760-series model specs. In fact, it is quite similar to the Zonda 760 LH (Lewis Hamilton), but with two extra rear lights sitting above the standard taillights which have been smoked. They are said to be inspired by early Zonda R renderings from 2007.

Like all 760 models, the ZoZo packs a naturally aspirated 7.3-litre AMG V12 engine churning out 559kW (760HP) and 780Nm of torque.

The purple car you see here is still in Pagani’s workshop undergoing its finishing touches before being shipped to Japan.
