Limited number Honda Civic VTi-S LUXE Edition joins range

Honda is adding a limiting number VTi-S LUXE edition to the 2018 Civic range, bringing added comfort features to the mid-spec VTi-S sedan on which it is based.

The Civic VTi-S LUXE adds a selection of prestige features for a price premium of $2,000 above the regular VTi-S sedan. Additional equipment for the LUXE edition includes leather-appointed seat trim, heated front seats, 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, Piano Black sports front grille and metallic/pearlescent paint as standard.

Slotting between the $24,490 plus on-road costs VTi-S variant and the $27,790 turbocharged VTi-L grade, the VTi-S LUXE carries a sticker of $26,490 plus ORC with its 104kW / 174Nm 1.8-litre and CVT powertrain combo mirroring its VTi-S donor car.

Like the Civic VTi-S, the LUXE version boasts features like smart keyless entry, push-button start, LaneWatch blind spot monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, 16-inch alloys, front fog lights and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Also standard are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

It will be available in a choice of four exterior paint colours — White Orchid Pearlescent, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic and Cosmic Blue Metallic.
