Kia to introduce KND-7 concept at CES

Kia KND-7 concept front

Kia has revealed plans to introduce the KND-7 concept at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. No details have been released yet but it looks strikingly similar to the Kia CUB concept that was unveiled at the Seoul Auto Show last year.

If it is indeed just a renamed CUB, the funky hatch with suicide rear doors will have a 1.6-litre turbocharged GDI four-cylinder engine that develops 150kW and 265Nm of torque. The concept from Seoul also had a high-tech cabin with a Driving Information System that reacts to gestures, and a steering wheel that monitored the driver’s biorhythms.

Like most concepts, the KND-7 has all LED lighting, cameras for mirrors and turning veins for the indicators.
