Front-drive Volkswagen Tiguan 118TSI now available with 6-speed DSG

The previously manual only entry-level front-wheel drive Volkswagen Tiguan is now available with a 6-speed DSG.

Priced from $30,990 plus on-road costs, the Tiguan 118TSI DSG is also equipped with BlueMotion Technologies such as engine Start/Stop and Brake energy recuperation as standard. Thanks to these fuel saving tech, the medium SUV returns 7.3L/100km of average fuel consumption.

Other standard features include daytime driving lights, auto hold function, cruise control, Bluetooth Connectivity with music streaming and multi-function leather steering wheel. Customers can also order their Tiguan 118TSI with the Park Assist 2 which automatic parallel or reverse parks the car.

The 118TSI is powered by a 1.4-litre 4-cylinder twin-charged (supercharged and turbocharged) petrol engine generating 118kW @ 5,800rpm and 240Nm @ 1,500-4,000rpm.
