AC Schnitzer offering the BMW X6 M with 471kW

AC Schnitzer have taken the already aggressive BMW X6 M and managed to make it better by boosting the 4.4-liter Twin Turbo V8 from 417kW to 471kW and tweaking the body for a sharper look.

The added power comes mostly from a retune of the existing ECU. Generally, turbo charged motors are conservatively tuned to ensure reliability. AC Schnitzer guarantees their tune is reliable and backs their guarantee with a 2 year warranty. On top of the tune they have also included their signature AC Schnitzer silencer tail pipes that can be ordered in either “Sports Black”, “Sports Chrome” or “Carbon Evo” style. The upgrade also provides sharper handling with an upgraded spring kit bringing the height of the vehicle down 15mm at the front and 20mm in the rear.

Styling tweaks include a new front skirt, carbon fibre rear wing, carbon fibre rear skirt and bonnet vents. For a more premium look, customers can also order chromed bonnet vents and rear skirt decor film.

The purchaser has also been given freedom over their wheel package. On offer are AC1 wheels in either BiColor or matte anthracite, Type VIII racing forged rims in BiColor, Type VIII rims in BiColor black or silver, and Type V lightweight forged alloys in BiColor or anthracite.

Although minimal, the interior has also been given the AC Schnitzer touch with an Aluminum pedal set, foot rest, key holder and velour floor mats.
