The 2020 Toyota Supra is only about a month away from its world debut at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show but its aggressive front-end design has been revealed thanks to the guys and girls at SupraMKV forums.
Caught resting at the back of a transport truck with most of the car cover pulled back, it’s clear that the reborn Supra has retain most of the FT-1 concept’s front fascia, as can be seen in the comparison photos below. While toned down somewhat for production, it’s no less dramatic.
We can see noticeably larger LED headlights while the bonnet is now without the concept’s transparent panel. However, the side air intakes flanking the beak-like nose appear to be just as big as they were on the FT-1.
The concept’s double-bubble roof and blacked-out A-pillars also appear to make it to production.
As for the car’s rear end, we will have to wait for its official reveal in Detroit but if the front end is anything to go by we can look forward to a similarly faithful posterior to the FT-1.
