There’s also a red pinstriped side skirt and new 19-inch forged alloy wheels. At the back, the car gets a more aggressive looking rear bumper, again complete with red highlight, with vertical slits on both sides. Rounding off the cosmetic makeover is a rear 911-style rear spoiler.

While no official photos have been released of the interior, it is said to have been enhanced with redesigned black-and-red Recaro leather-appointed seats with Alcantara accents. Customers can also option up their 370Z Nismo with a Tech pack that adds a hard drive-based Navigation System with 7.0-inch touch-sensitive display, RearView Monitor, Bluetooth and more.

Of course, being a Nismo product means the car has had its suspension fettled with. However, we will have to wait for an official release for more detail on that.

Under the bonnet is the same aluminium-alloy 3.7-litre V6 producing 245kW and 363Nm and matched with a standard close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. A 7-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching and manual shift mode with paddle shifters is available as an option.
