Okayama International Circuit was supposed to be round 1 of the 2011 Super GT championship but it was delayed and made round 2 after Fuji Speedway due to the devastating earth quake that rocked central Japan in March. So the cars finally got to race on this track on 22 May.
Calsonic Impul Nissan GT-R driven by Matsuda Tsugio and Joan Paulo de Oliveira snatched the win at Okayama with the Raybrig Honda HSV-10 and Keihin Honda HSV-10 coming in second and third respectively.
