Nissan has introduced a new 45th Anniversary Gold Edition GT-R in the USA to commemorates the GT-R’s long heritage.

The car features a special gold exterior paint job called “Silica Brass”, a golden VIN plate located inside the engine compartment, and a commemorative plague on the dashboard.

It rolls on 20-spoke RAYS forged alloy wheels with a near black finish. They are wrapped in sticky nitrogen-filled Dunlop Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT ultra high-performance run-flat tyres measuring 255/40ZRF20 front and 285/35ZRF20 rear.

Like the rest of the range, it is powered by a slightly revised 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that generates 410kW (550bhp) and 628Nm of torque channeled to all four wheels.

No further details were released by the Japanese manufacturer except less than 30 units will be up for grabs in the US.
