Mansory Tuned Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado

Mansory first laid their hot little hands on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 earlier this year, which was previewed at the Geneva Motor Show. It looked awesome in the bright fiery orange paint work.

Now, the German tuner is having a second go at Lamborghini’s latest supercar, and this time it’s called the Carbonado, after the “Black Diamonds” found in parts of Africa and Brazil.

The Carbonado is built on the previous tuning package and uses the same engine ECU programme. Output from the Aventador’s V12 engine is exactly the same as the Geneva Motor Show’s example: 744bhp (754PS/555kW) at 8,300rpm and 750Nm (533.1 lb.ft) at 6,000rpm.

Mansory claims the Aventador Carbonado will achieve a 0 – 100km/h dash in just 2.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 355km/h (221mph).

While the engine tune is unchanged, the Carbonado sports a striking new body kit, where most of the Aventador’s exterior panels and engine compartment cover have been replaced with lightweight components made of the automotive equivalent of black diamond – carbon fibre. The side skirts, front and rear aprons and rear wing are all carbon fibre.

The new body kit also pumps out the Aventador’s width by 40mm (1.57 inches) on the front axle and 50mm (1.97 inches) on the rear axle.

To complement the body kit, Mansory swapped all four wheels with a new set of light forged rims with carbon fibre inlays shod in 255/30 ZR20 in front and massive 345/25 ZR21 in the rear.

Inside, there are more – you guessed it – carbon fibre! Various inserts are made out of the expensive weaved fibre and the black leather upholstery is inlaid with red accents.

Mansory will only produce six examples of the Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado.
