Audi has introduced an S Line Competition package for the company’s TT Coupé. Available as an option on the 2.0-litre TFSI model, the Competition package costs just $1,800 but brings over $8,000 worth of gear to the Audi TT, in the process turning it into a TT RS look-alike.
Exterior enhancements include specially designed bumpers, air inlets and side sills, the pre-requisite S Line badges, tailpipe trims and a distinctive diffuser insert. There is also a fixed rear wing, taken from the Audi TT RS, and Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights.
Other visual highlights include a high-gloss black painted exterior mirror housing, rear diffuser insert, tailpipe trim and radiator grille, with matte black grille insert. The coupé licence plate frame and front fog light surrounds are also painted in matte black.
Four new body colours are also available – Samoa Orange, Glacier White, Daytona Grey and Misano Red. The TT S Line rolls on a set of 19-inch five-arm ‘Rotor’ alloy wheels wrapped in 255/35 series tyres.
Inside, the S Line Competition package brings special door sill trims, the extended aluminium-look trim, the leather package and the sport seats. As in the TT RS, the rim of the leather multifunction sport steering wheel is more strongly contoured and flattened at the bottom.
With the Samoa Orange exterior finish, the matte brushed aluminium inlays are replaced by inlays with a reflex finish in the body colour.
