The next generation Lexus RX has been spotted out in the wild with heavy camouflage. Due to hit markets in late 2015 or early 2016, the all-new fourth-generation Lexus RX will sport the company’s trademark spindle grille and aggressive headlights.
Judging from the spy photos, the new RX looks slightly longer than the current model, with a stretched wheelbase, suggesting a possible seven-seat configuration for the mid-size crossover. The current RX is a strict five-seater.
Like the smaller Lexus NX crossover, the RX will most likely feature a more edgy design with sharper lines and creases. Under the bonnet, expect a range of petrol V6 and hybrid setups. The new turbo 2.0 powering the NX 200t could also make it to the RX.
