2011 Tokyo Auto Salon Part 3: Lexus Tuned

Lexus hasn’t been spared from the tuning scene with some uniquely tuned cars on display at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Kicking things off is this Lexus IS-F CCS-R Racing Concept where CCS-R stands for Circuit Club Sports Racer. As the name suggests, the IS-F CCS-R is a track tuned racer complete with gutted interior, roll-cage and a host of carbon fiber panels.

All major mechanical components have been replaced with heavy duty racing items such as racing suspension, brake pad, customized brake cooling system, racing exhaust system, transmission and differential oil cooler, mechanical LSD, forged alloy wheels and slick tires all round.
