The Fuji Speedway is always busy with events at this time of the year. Just last month there was the Toyota Motorsports Festival. It was the 10th anniversary of the event and Lexus thrown in a special LF-A challenge race to thrill the crowd.
Last weekend the Fuji Speedway opened its doors yet again for the Nismo Festival. This event has been held annually since 1997. It is an opportunity for organisers Nissan and tuning arm Nismo to showcase everything from the companies’ latest electric vehicle and classics to GT500 race cars and purposed built track machines. Like the Toyota Motorsports Festival, this event never fails to attract a large number of enthusiasts.
At the track a number of races consisting different classes of cars took place. Behind the grandstand were booths of various tuners displaying a good variety of cars, after-market performance parts and merchandise.
