Valet sets $750k Lamborghini Aventador on fire taking it for a ride

lamborghini aventador set on fire by valet in miami

Occurrence like these aren’t surprising these days, especially if you trust the valet who is barely out of high school with your $750,000 supercar.

While it may cost a lot less in the US, the Lamborghini Aventador is still not your average family run about. And when this young valet driver was thrown the keys to one – to park it, that is – inevitably, he couldn’t resist but took the car for a ride around the block.

Predictably, it ended in disaster. Our driver revved the mighty V12 engine a little too hard while stationary, causing the car to catch fire. While the young driver wasn’t hurt, it was evident he had an “Oh Shit!” moment to say the least.

Luckily, someone came to the rescue with a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.

The mishap reportedly happened on the 29 December 2015, at a busy intersection in Miami Beach’s South Beach neighbourhood.
