AC Schnitzer has given us a preview of its ACL2, which will make its official debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next month.

The impressive looking ‘green monster’ is believed to be based on the sporty BMW M235i coupe and sports a wide body kit comprising of new bumpers with enlarged air intakes at the front, chunky side sills, flared wheel arch extension and a towering rear wing. There’s also a set of two-tone red painted five twin-spoke alloy wheels to go with the eye-catching retro green paintwork.

The green theme continues into the cabin. The standard car’s front seats have been replaced with a pair of racing buckets seats upholstered partially with green leather. AC Schnitzer has also modified the M Sports steering wheel with a chunkier wheel rim.

We are unsure at this stage whether the ACL2 gets the standard car’s 3.0-litre turbocharged engine or the bigger 4.4-litre V8. What we know is the car will have 419kW of power.

Stay tuned for more details.
