Wheelsandmore Tweaks Mercedes SL65 AMG

The updated 2010 Mercedes SL65 AMG is a 6.0 litre V12 monster with 612 horsepower and 1000 Nm or torque at your disposal, enough muscle to tow a truck if you ever want to. However, if you still think that the SL65 AMG doesn’t float your boat, there is now a more powerful version.

German tuner Wheelsandmore have tweaked the SL65 AMG by fitting a high flow sports exhaust system and a retuned ECU. The result is 697 horsepower and 1150 Nm of torque, enough to take you from zero to 100 kph in just 3 seconds.

The exterior of the convertible remains untouched except for a set of 20 inch 3-piece forged wheels wrapped in high performance Dunlop tyres. The tyre sizes are 255/30/20 for the front and 305/25/20 for the rear.

Apart from the increased power, Wheelsandmore have also fitted a special suspension system called “LowMaXX”. Basically it allows the driver to raise and lower the car by up to 40mm through a flip of a switch. This feature would be useful in car park ramps or speed humps.
