Unsatisfied with your BMW M2? Let Dahler beef it up

Really, how can anyone be dissatisfied with a BMW M2? In its stock form it’s already a competitive package. The 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine pumps out an impressive 272kW and 465Nm of torque, which it channels to the rear wheels via either a 6 speed manual or 7 speed dual clutch transmission. 0 to 100? A blistering 4.5 seconds.

Unsurprisingly there are many out there who won’t settle for less and that’s where Swiss tuning firm Dahler Design come in.

The Dahler treatment starts in the engine bay. Out goes the M2’s motor for the equally sized but significantly more powerful S55 engine found in the M4. Along with a tune and some minor upgrades, this engine achieves a whopping 403kW and 729Nm of torque. Dahler claim the mini M can spring from 0-97km/h in under 4 seconds.

Complimenting the impressive performance boost, Dahler tricked out the M2 with a new trunk lid spoiler, 18-way adjustable coilovers and Dahlers own braking system sitting behind a set of 21-inch alloy wheels.

We don’t have final pricing for this setup, but add the cost a new engine, big brake kit, coilovers and wheels and you’ll probably tip the price of a brand new BMW M4.
