Porsche 911 Turbo and Carrera get new tuning package from Techart

The well-known tuner Techart has devised a complete tuning package for the 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo and Carrera models, bringing style, improved aero and an aggressive engine tune to the table.

Starting with the exterior, Techart offers a new aerodynamic body kit which aims to add a “classy treatment to the vehicle’s characteristic shape”. The kit is made from premium materials such as carbon fibre and polyurethane RIM. A two-piece front spoiler features a built-in splitter and integrates seamlessly with the front apron without obstructing the stock active lip spoiler.

For the 911 Carrera models, Techart offer a choice of two different rear wings. The first extends the stock wing and mounts directly to the lid therefore retaining the automatic adaptability. The alternate is a fixed angle wing that replaces the stock adjustable lid. To top off the aero, Techart install a roof spoiler, refined side skirts and rear diffuser.

In the power department, Techart offer the S1-Powerkit package. This package bumps the Carrera S from 319kW and 500Nm of torque to 338kW and 560Nm of torque. The 911 Turbo gets an even more impressive upgrade with a final output clocking in at 471kW and 880Nm of torque.

To go along with the extra oomph, the company also offers a unique sports exhaust featuring quad carbon exhaust tips and an adjustable valve enabling the driver to control the exhaust volume to any driving mood.

A slew of interior upgrades are available including a range of custom steering wheels, sports pedals, custom seat stitching and an upgraded set of dash instruments.
