Oettinger releases bodykit for Volkswagen Mk8 Golf

Official Volkswagen tuning partner, Oettinger has released its bodykit for the Mk8 Golf.

Sticking with tradition, the add-on parts are relatively discreet and can be ordered individually to enhance the Mk8 Golf’s presence.

Up front, there’s a new front apron which not only makes the popular hatch look sportier, but also reduces lift, as Oettinger has tested all the parts in the wind tunnel.

Along the side, there’s a stylish side skirt, while the rear diffuser lip comes in a three-piece design with a removal middle section that allows the installation of a tow hook. Rounding out the Oettinger body parts is a roof-mounted spoiler.

If the 18-inch wheels look slightly familiar, that’s because they are from Volkswagen themselves and available through their official Accessories range.

According to Oettinger, all components are supplied primed and ready to be finished in any colour to match the car, except for the roof spoiler, which is painted in gloss black. All parts are said to be of OEM quality, too.

The tuner will also be developing parts for the upcoming Golf GTI and AWD Golf R.
