KW Suspension has rolled out a new set of performance gear for the Mazda MX-5 roadster. The KW Clubsport coilovers are designed to extract the maximum for the new MX-5 on racetracks and on the street, allowing separate adjustment of the rebound and compression.

With the rebound adjustment on the upper end of the piston rod the Variant 3, Clubsport 2-way and 3-way coilovers can be adjusted with 16 clicks for comfort or handling bias. The coilovers also allow 12 clicks of adjustment for compression damping. A stainless steel threaded strut allows a lowering range of up to 45mm on the front and rear axles.

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 is the most compact of any generation MX-5 so far and is almost 100kg lighter than the model it replaces. Power comes from either a 1.5- or 2.0-litre petrol engine mated to either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission.
