Video: Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale exercises its lungs

This ultra-exclusive Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale built by Zagato has been spotted at the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este recently.

Created to celebrate Alfa Romeo’s centenary in 2011, the TZ3 is based on the Dodge Viper ACR. Only nine of the carbon fibre bodied sports cars were ever made, each one of them powered by a massive 8.4-litre V10 engine delivering 477kW (640bhp).

It’s “Kamm-tail” is a tribute to the classic Alfa Romeo TZ and TZ2 sports cars from the 1960s.

In 2010, Alfa also created the one-off Zagato TZ3 Corsa which was based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. That car weigh just 850kg and boasts a 313kW 4.2-litre V8 engine that enables it to dash from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 300km/h.

You can hear the awesome sound track of the TZ3 Stradale’s V10 engine in the video below.
