Suzuki has given the Kizashi its mid-life update. The three-model line up now boasts identical sports body kit and as a consequence, all add the ‘Sport’ motif on their rump.
The entry-level Sport Touring now starts at $29,990 drive away, compared to $27,990 plus on-road costs previously. Touring buyers also get more standard equipment, including sports body kit, 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, Bluetooth connectivity, dual-zone climate control and keyless entry and start.
The range continues to be powered by a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 131kW @ 6,000rpm and 230Nm @ 4,000rpm. All models are paired with a standard continuously variable transmission except for the Touring, where it is matched with a six-speed manual, with CVT being an option.
Next up is the Sport Prestige at $37,990 drive away. It brings heated and powered leather seats, satellite navigation with integrated Bluetooth and reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, dusk-sensing HID headlights, rain sensing wipers, photo chromatic rear vision mirror and sunroof.
Topping the range is the $39,990 (drive away) Kizashi Sport AWD which boasts an exclusive leather steering wheel, unique silver stitching on the seats and, of course, Suzuki’s all-wheel drive system.
All models come with an extensive list of safety features, including 7 airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, ABS and electronic brakeforce distribution.
The new Kizashi Sport range will arrive in showrooms in September.
