Subaru adds Premium Sport Edition to Japanese line up

Subaru has added a Premium Sport Edition to its Japanese BRZ lineup. The special edition is derived from the BRZ Sport Package launched a few months ago and is purely a cosmetic upgrade.

It is differentiated by 17-inch black STI alloy wheels and black mirror caps. As with any special editions, the Subaru Premium Sport Edition will come in a variety of special paint finishes. The cabin is upholstered in two-toned leather and also gets aluminium pedals, STI engine start button, silver accents and a carbon fibre trim on the dashboard.

Black Alcantara with contrast tan stitching is found above the instrument panel and on the doors’ top section and sides of the centre console, while tan leather is used for the lower door section.

The Subaru Premium Sport Edition will go on sale in Japan at the end of the year with a starting price of ¥3,034,500.
