Renault Megane Sedan and Wagon pricing and specification

Renault is extending its C-segment line-up with the arrival of the new Megane sedan and wagon. The four-door coupe-inspired sedan and wagon are the latest additions to the Megane range after the introduction of the Megane hatch in 2016.

Part of the renewal of the Renault range, the Megane sedan boasts a dynamic and upmarket styling with sculpted surfaces, well-balanced proportions, a Renault-family front end, and a distinctive C-shaped front light signature. The glass roof linking the windscreen to the rear window lends an elegant and esthetic two-tone look.

Rivalling the Mazda 3 and Honda Civic, the stylish Megane sedan, or Grand Coupe as it is known in European markets, is said to feature top-level rear-seat spaciousness and a capacious boot, despite its sporty silhouette. Powertrains for the wagon and sedan consist of two turbocharged petrol engines, in-line with their hatch sibling.

“The all-new Renault Megane wagon and sedan enable us to broaden our offer in one of the largest and most competitive segments of the new car market,” said Mr Justin Hocevar, Renault Australia’s Managing Director.

“With the welcome return of the Megane wagon to the range, Renault now has an even more practical vehicle for families with an active lifestyle, or for business users who need significant carrying capacity as well as the comfort, safety and performance of a passenger car.

“The all-new Megane sedan is pitched right into the heart of the four-door compact market, offering above-average specification and a sharp price.

“When you combine this with our five year, unlimited kilometre warranty and our Capped Price Servicing programme, the Renault Megane range stands head and shoulders above its closest competitors,” Mr. Hocevar said.
