In celebration of the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans’s, Porsche’s “Exclusive” program have built a special Endurance Racing Edition variant of their popular 911 Carrera S model.
This special model is based on the regular Carrera S which boasts a 309kW 3.0-litre flat-six engine. Its intricate livery comes inspired by the LMP1 919 Hybrid making use of the words “Porsche Intelligent Performance”, with race inspired details flowing throughout its exterior and interior.
Inside, the Carrera S comes fitted with the Sport Chrono package featuring a marked steering wheel, stopwatch mounted on the dashboard, sport mode control and other subtler touches.
The exterior benefits from a twin sports exhaust system, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and an electric sliding sunroof.
The Carrera S features Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control with rear wheel steering (Virtual Wheelbase Extension) keeping the car well planted and sharp through corners.
