Peugeot has joined the world of virtual concepts with the unveiling of its Vision Gran Turismo Concept, a virtual supercar for the Gran Turismo 6 Playstation game.

After a string of teasers, the Peugeot supercar concept finally debuts and will be available for download in Gran Turismo 6 as a free update in the near future.

Developed exclusively for the Playstation racing simulator, the sleek body is only 1.04 meters tall and comes with no aerodynamic features as its creators claimed the shape “is enough to effectively stick the car to the road.”

The space-age looks are matched with a 3.2-litre turbocharged V6 pumping out 875 bhp (652 kW) to an all-wheel drive system managed through a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Tipping the scale at only 875 kg (1,929 lbs), the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo Concept boasts a power to weight ratio of 1:1 and is capable of propelling from rest to 100km/h in a blistering 1.73 seconds.

The concept rolls on massive 22-inch wheels at the front and 23-inch at the rear. Stopping power is provided by Brembo brakes measuring 380mm at the front and 337mm at the rear.
