Next Generation BMW 3 Series Rendering

Following the release of the first rendering of the next generation BMW 3 Series, here is another graphical depiction of the upcoming model, code named F30.

Due to hit the showrooms in 2012, the latest rendering from Schulte Design shows us that the next 3 Series will inherit some of the design elements from its bigger brother, the F10 5 Series, with a wider nose incorporating the trademark kidney grille.

The new car is expected to share the new four-cylinder turbo from the BMW 1 Series. However there will also be the usual six cylinders in the line up. And for the first time, a new hybrid version will also join the line up. Sending the power to the rear wheels will be a six speed manual or an eight speed ZF automatic transmission.
