These are the first images of the next generation Kia Sportage, leaked online ahead of its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in mid-September.
Set to hit showrooms worldwide in early 2016, the fourth generation Kia Sportage is penned by brand’s European design centre located in Frankfurt. It features a dramatically-sculpted bodywork with a bolder and more dynamic design.
Inside, the all-new Sportage is said to marry simple, modern style with rich material quality for Kia’s most refined, highest-quality cabin to date.
The new Sportage will use similar drivetrains as the latest Hyundai Tucson. This means a range of petrol and diesel engines will be available in either 2WD or 4WD form. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or seven-speed dual clutch automatic.
