Mitsubishi Triton GLS Sports Edition introduced

Special edition utes seem to be the trend these days. Hot on the heels of Ford’s introduction of the Ranger FX4, Mitsubishi has announced a Triton GLS Sports Edition for the Australian market.

Based on the 2017 Triton GLS 4×4 Double Cab, the Triton Sports Edition boost its appeal with a number of unique styling and specification enhancements. On the outside, distinguishing elements include Mitsubishi’s ‘dynamic shield’ black out fascia and gloss black accents on grille, sports bar, alloy wheels and rear step bumper.

Inside, the GLS Sports Edition carries over features from the GLS including Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA), keyless entry and reversing camera. The Sports Edition is also fitted with a range of genuine accessories including a black powder coat finish nudge bar, adding to its bold look.

Specification changes on Triton GLS Sports Edition includes a unique combination Rear Differential Lock, usually reserved for the Exceed model.

Mitsubishi’s Executive Director of Marketing Tony Principe said the Triton GLS Sports Edition’s outstanding value and attractive styling is sure to be a winner with customers.

Available in manual and automatic transmission, the Triton GLS Sports Edition is on sale now in Mitsubishi dealerships.
