Life-Size Cardboard Honda NSX Super GT Race Car

What you are looking at here is the Honda NSX Super GT race car. Or is it really? Well it is indeed the NSX race car except that it is made entirely out of cardboard pieces.

This is an impressively detailed full sized 1:1 Honda NSX Super GT assembled by printing giant Epson. The company’s papercraft enthusiasts used giant printers to print individual sheets of the car, cut up and attached the pieces together to form this NSX replica. Every single detail of the real car has been captured and replicated in this papercraft race car, including the curvature of the body panels and the aerodynamic parts.

This replica was put on display at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon earlier this year. Sadly it is not for sale and Epson has no intention of putting it into “production”. Imagine if you could buy one of these and park it in your garage, damn sure it will trick passing strangers into thinking you own the real NSX Super GT race car!
