Lexus has released a teaser image of the production version of the all-new Lexus NX compact SUV ahead of its premier at the 2014 Beijing International Autoshow.
Based on the LF-NX concept which debuted last year to rapturous reception, it is clear that Lexus has successfully translated the edgy design of the showcar onto the production model, albeit slightly watered down.
The NX promises to bring “advanced technologies and Lexus’ signature spindle grille in an SUV form”. The NX is also expected to debut the brand’s first 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that will eventually replace the company’s aging and inefficient 2.5-litre petrol V6 engines.
