Lexus RC 200t and updated GS pricing and specifications

Lexus Australia has rolled out its in-house developed and built 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine on new RC coupe and updated GS sedan.

The RC 200t model will now be the entry-level model to the RC range and priced from $64,000 plus on-road costs. It will be available in three grades – Luxury, F Sport and Sports Luxury.

The 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine is shared with the NX and recently launched IS 200t. It generates 180kW and 350Nm of torque and comes with Stop and Start technology, enabling a claimed fuel efficiency of 7.3L/100km.

Standard features include:

The RC 200t F Sport model, which retails for $73,000 RRP, builds on the entry level specification to include the following:
– 19-inch F Sport alloy wheels
– Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS)
– 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio
– F Sport steering wheel
– sports power front seats with memory function
– LED high grade headlamps
– Blind Sport Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert
– limited slip differential, and
– Acceleration Sound Control (ACS).

Two enhancement packs are available for RC 200t F Sport.

The first includes moonroof and retails for $2500.

The second comprises moonroof, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Automatic High Beam (AHB) and smart key card for an additional $3500.

Range-topping RC 200t Sports Luxury adds further premium standard specification including unique Sports Luxury 19-inch wheels, semi-aniline leather seats, Shimamoku ornamentation, Automatic High Beam and Lane Departure Warning.

RC 200t Sports Luxury retails for $83,500 RRP.

Updated V6-powered RC 350 features the same specification level as RC 200t Luxury but adds Pre-Collision Safety system and All-Speed Active Cruise Control, which are enhancements over the previous RC 350.

RC 350 Luxury is priced at $67,000 RRP and differs from the corresponding RC 200t model by adding an intake sound creator to provide a deep audible roar in the cabin to complement the quad cam V6 powerplant.

It has one enhancement pack containing a moonroof available for an additional $2500.

RC 350 F Sport mirrors the specification of RC 200t F Sport but adds Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) and Active Rear Steering.

It offers more standard specification than the RC 350 F Sport it replaces including the addition of Pre-Collision Safety System, Active Cruise Control, limited slip differential, front performance damper and Acceleration Sound Control (ACS).

This model retails for $76,000 RRP.

The enhancement packs mirror those of RC 200t F Sport in price and specification.

RC 350 Sports Luxury, which retails for $86,500 RRP, offers the same high grade specification level as RC 200t Sports Luxury.

The restyled and upgraded GS Line begins with the new GS 200t, which replaces the V6-powered GS 250.

It is available in two grade levels – Luxury and F Sport.

GS 200t Luxury is priced at $75,000 RRP and comes with a high level of standard features, including:

There is one enhancement pack available for GS 200t Luxury, which retails for $4500. This includes a moonroof and 18-inch alloy wheels.

GS 200t F Sport pricing starts at $83,000 RRP and includes:

New design 19-inch alloy wheels, high grade LED headlamps with Adaptive High Beam, Pre-Collision Safety System, All Speed Active Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist are all specification upgrades over the GS 250 F Sport it replaces.

There are two enhancement packs available for GS 200t F Sport.

Enhancement Pack 1, retailing for $4500, includes a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, 12.3-inch multimedia display and Head-Up Display (HUD).

Enhancement Pack 2 includes all the features of EP1 and adds a moonroof for an additional $2500.

GS 300h, GS 350 and GS 450h pricing has also been revised.

GS 300h Luxury is priced at $78,000 RRP. Its specification mirrors that of new GS 200t and therefore offers more standard specification than the previous generation.

Its enhancement pack, available for $4500, is also the same as that offered on GS 200t with 18-inch alloy wheels and moonroof.

GS 300h F Sport is priced at $86,000 RRP and mirrors the enhancement pack strategy of GS 200t, with two enhancement packs that retail for $4500 and $7000 respectively.

GS 300h Sports Luxury has been removed from the line-up.

The revised GS 350, which features Lexus’ renowned quad cam 3.5-litre V6, comprises F Sport and Sports Luxury variants.

GS 350 F Sport pricing starts at $94,400 RRP.

It builds on the GS 200t F Sport and GS 300h F Sport specification to include Mark Levinson premium audio, Head-Up Display and 12.3-inch multimedia display.

Only one enhancement pack (containing a moonroof) is available and retails for $2500.

GS 350 Sports Luxury is priced at $105,500 RRP.

Its range-topping specification highlights include semi-aniline leather-accented trim, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, power boot lid and heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) control panel for rear passengers.

It also adds a heated steering wheel, which is an upgrade on the previous GS 350 Sports Luxury model.

Unique laser cut ornamentation, which incorporates crafted wood and aluminium to produce a unique finish, is available as a no-cost option.

GS 450h, which features a powerful and efficient hybrid powertrain, is offered in the same model strategy as GS 350.

GS 450h F Sport is priced at $106,000 RRP with one enhancement pack (containing moonroof) available for $2500.

GS 450 Sports Luxury is priced at $117,500 RRP and can be optioned with laser cut ornamentation for no cost.
