Infiniti QX Sport Inspiration V2.0 premiers in Paris

While cross town rival, Lexus dazzles with its striking UX Concept, Infiniti wheels out its equally eye-catching QX Sport Inspiration Version 2.0 at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

First shown at the Beijing Motor Show, the concept is said to point to the future design language for Infiniti’s QX models and also serve as a preview of the next-generation mid-size FX45.

Its taut lines, muscular haunches, high visual centre of gravity, long bonnet and raked, coupe-like silhouette blends beautifully with Infiniti’s traditional design hallmarks, including the signature double-arch grille, “human eye” headlamps, “crescent-cut” pillars and masculine, fluid body sculpting.

The flowing lines continue inside with a driver-focused cockpit and a predominantly black and white interior scheme giving it a futuristic look.

The concept’s 230mm ground clearance and short front overhang promises off-road versatility, while its wide stance (appox. 1,900mm) and length (4,600mm) is said to provide in-control on-road manners and cruising comfort.

The QX Sport Inspiration show car is finished in a sleek matte grey exterior paint colour and rolls on 22-inch aluminium bronze finished alloy wheels – larger than the 21-inch wheels seen on the concept for its Beijing world premiere.
