Infiniti has unveiled its new Q30 Concept which previews the company’s production car that will be built at Nissan’s Sunderland manufacturing facility in the UK.

Set to go on sale in 2015, the study gives a glimpse of what the actual car will look like, albeit in an exaggerated, motor show form. Infiniti says the Q30 was designed with younger buyers in mind and is confident that its merging of dynamic design with the sportiness of a coupe, the roominess of a hatch and the higher stance of a crossover, will resonate with these customers.

It is believed that the production version of the Infiniti Q30 will utilise Mercedes-Benz’ new MFA modular front-wheel drive platform that already underpins the highly successful A-Class hatch and GLA crossover.
