Hyundai i30 N ‘N Option’ previews future N accessory range

Hyundai is presenting its vision of a future N branded factory performance accessories with the i30 N ‘N Option’.

On display at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, the hotted up i30 N show car gives a first glimpse of how Hyundai’s high-performance offer could evolve. With the new N Option to be launched in the near future, the company aims to offer a comprehensive range of customisation features to driving enthusiasts who want to make their car more unique.

“With our N portfolio we are shaking up the competition, and bringing new performance and emotions for our customers. The development of our N vehicles is grounded in Motorsport and our engagement there is the pinnacle of N,” says Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President High Performance Vehicles & Motorsport Division at Hyundai Motor Group. “The new i30 N Line and our i30 N ‘N Option’ show car illustrate our dual approach to customisation, making N available to a wider audience.”

The i30 ‘N Option’ showcases in total 25 different exterior and interior individualisation options. The exterior parts include a carbon rear wing carrying the N emblem, a carbon bonnet with integrated air vents, racy quad mufflers and the N grille surrounded by a red character line.

Another highlight are the wheels with casted lightweight 20-inch rims fitted with high-performance semi-slick tyres. The i30 N ‘N Option’ exterior colour is a unique matt paint, specially created for the show car.

Inside, black carbon accents adorn the dashboard as well as around the air vents, door handles and on the steering wheel’s bottom which has been covered with Alcantara. In addition, the upper dashboard and the light weight sport bucket seats with a characteristic red longitudinal line are available in Alcantara.

The ultimate performance look is completed with sport pedals, a dynamic-looking gear shift and several other interior customisation options.

While launch date is yet to be confirmed, expect the N Option to be made available for a range of Hyundai models in the future.
