Hi-po Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night confirmed for Australia

Jeep’s mighty Grand Cherokee SRT Night has been confirmed for Australia and due to arrive in local showrooms in June.

Powered by a potent 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine delivering 344kW and 624Nm of torque, the SRT Night is capable of storming from 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds, and a quarter-mile run in the mid 13-second range.

As its name suggests, the SRT Night features a host of stealth-like styling upgrades, including a black grille, lower front fascia and side window surrounds, with the satin-black treatment extending to all exterior badge work and a black roof.

It rolls on an exclusive set of freshly designed lightweight 20-inch alloy wheels – dubbed “5Ten” due to the split five-spoke design – finished in satin black, behind which hide a set of red Brembo brake calipers.

The cabin features black Laguna leather upholstery with silver accent stitching, complemented by black chrome and anodized silver bezels throughout. While the mighty V8 is already music to the ears, the SRT Night also comes with a 825W, 19-speakers Harman Kardon premium sound system.

Just 120 units of the Grand Cherokee SRT Night are headed to Australia, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
