Cupra on sale now in Australia with Launch Editions

2022 Cupra Leon VZx Launch Edition

Spanish performance brand, Cupra, has officially launched in Australia one month earlier than planned, with the brand taking online orders for the Leon, Forementor and Ateca Launch Edition models.

Just 100 units in total will be on offer, with all Launch Edition models based on the range-topping VZx trim level for each model and arriving in July.

The Leon VZx Launch Edition is priced from $65,065 RRP or $67,990 driveway and comes dressed in Graphene Grey Premium Metallic Paint and a Brembo Brake package.

2022 Cupra Forementor VZx Launch Edition

The Forementor VZx Launch Edition also gains the same features along with 19-inch Exclusive Sport black and copper alloy wheels, and carries a $66,115 RRP or $69,990 driveway price tag.

2022 Cupra Ateca VZx Launch Edition

Meanwhile, the Cupra Ateca VZx Launch Edition costs $67,990 RRP, or $69,990 driveway. It is painted exclusively in Graphite Grey metallic paint and comes standard with an Akrapovic exhaust system and unique 19-inch Machined R Sport black and copper alloy wheels.

Optioning a non-Launch Edition Ateca VZx with Akrapovic exhaust would costs $71,940 drive away – representing a significant saving before the exclusive alloys.

Regular 2022 Cupra Ateca

Like the regular Leon, Formentor and Ateca VZx models, a sunroof can be optioned to these Launch Edition models for the same price – $1800 for the Leon and Ateca, and $2100 for the Formentor.

When the vehicles arrive in July, Cupra says it will have agents in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and the ACT.
