American supercar Trion Nemesis with 1,491kW

The world might get yet another supercar if American startup company, Trion Supercars (TSC) has its way. Based in California, TSC was founded by a team of automotive designers, motor sport innovators and technologists.

The company has announced that they are currently in an early development for their first supercar called Nemesis. Powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine that is said to develop more than 2,000 bhp (1,491kW), it will rocket from 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds while achieve a top speed of 270mph. It is paired with an eight-speed sequential gearbox.

The Nemesis will be built on a carbon fibre chassis and body with several parts made from Inconel alloys. It boasts active aerodynamics and unlike most supercars, TSC said the interior packaging will comfortably accommodate 96th percentile (6’4”) drivers in all models.

Its cabin offers a digital flat panel control that provides access to programme the Nemesis power train as well as a few predefined operating options. A “Predetor Mode” will modify interior illumination, height, suspension, exhaust and rev limits. Other practical feature includes a rear luggage compartment that can accommodate golf clubs.
