Factory-tweaked Volkswagen Amarok Atacama available in Australia now

Volkswagen has released its factory-developed Amarok Atacama in Australia with a raft of stylish and practical upgrades.

Available on the Amarok TDI400 Selectable 4MOTION manual and TDI420 Permanenet 4MOTION automatic models, the Atacama adds bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, black sports bar, side steps, black rear step bumper and 18-inch ‘Durban’ black alloy wheels with 255/60 R18 Bridgestone tyres. To add further practicality, the Atacama is also equipped with the ‘Durabed’ spray-on tubliner to protect the tray when carrying loads.

Inside, the ute has new ‘QUAD’ fabric trim with a quilted bolster finish, giving the cabin a touch of sophistication.

Other standard features include RNS315 satellite navigation system, dual zone climate control, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensor and rear-view camera.

Volkswagen Australia is releasing 500 Amarok Atacama to the local market priced at $53,990 plus on-road costs for the Amarok TDI420 manual, and $56,990 plus on-roads for the Atacama auto.
