2019 Mitsubishi ASX pricing and specification

Mitsubishi’s evergreen ASX has been rejigged and refreshed for 2019 in an attempt to retain its crown as the top-seller in the small SUV segment. The 2019 ASX range will consist of three variants, including the new entry-level ES, LS and Exceed.

Standard features on the ES include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lamps, 7-inch touchscreen, digital radio and reverse camera. An optional ADAS safety pack adds Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), along with reversing sensors, dusk sensing headlamps and rain sensing wipers.

Moving up the range, the LS features smart key with one-touch start, FCM and LDW along with auto high beam and privacy glass.  Exterior stying is enhanced with two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels whilst the interior boasts microsuede seats and leather-look bolsters.

ASX Exceed is fitted with BSW, LCA and RCTA in addition to key features including panoramic glass roof with LED mood lighting, leather seat facings and heated front seats.

The 2019 ASX is powered exclusively by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder MIVEC petrol engine producing 110kW of power and 197Nm of torque channelled to the front wheels via a CVT. Fuel consumption remains unchanged at 7.7L/100km for the manual and 7.6L/100km for the CVT.

The diesel engine and all-wheel drive variants have been dropped.
