2019 Ford Everest updated with Bi-Turbo diesel, 5-year warranty

The updated 2019 Ford Everest will go on sale in September with increased equipment, new fuel-efficient powertrain choices and optional Driver Assist Technology including Autonomous Emergency Braking.

Building on its 2015 launch, the new Everest represents a significant evolution in safety, technology and design. Buyers can expect to see new content options including a 500Nm Bi-Turbo engine with greater towing capacity, push-button start and Autonomous Emergency Braking.

Everest has also since expanded for even broader appeal to include both five- and seven-seat configurations, as well as rear-wheel drive models for customers seeking high ground clearance, easy entry/egress and strong towing capability.

The MY19 Ford Everest comes with a five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty for ownership peace of mind.

Ford Everest Ambiente (RWD/4WD)

Ford Everest Ambiente RWD and 4WD now has SYNC 3 with satellite-navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility, making this technology standard across the Everest range.

Externally, the new front grille and fascia design, coupled with halogen projector headlamps, deliver a more refined look complemented by a refreshed, darker interior.

Ford Everest Trend RWD/4WD

A new Bi-Turbo diesel engine with 10-speed automatic transmission comes standard on RWD and is optional on 4WD for greater fuel economy, towing capacity (3100kg) and performance on- and off-road.

Additional standard features on Everest Trend include Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition and Lane Keeping System.

The journey is sure to be comfortable, with the addition of leather accented seat trim, eight-way power driver’s seat with the convenience of a hands-free power rear liftgate. HID headlamps with auto levelling and LED day-time running lights are also standard on Everest Trend.

Ford Everest Titanium builds on the comprehensive standard features of Trend including AEB. It is available exclusively with the new 500Nm Bi-Turbo engine and 10-speed automatic transmission Additional highlights include all new 20-inch x 8.5-inch alloy wheels with 265/50 R20 tyres and standard tow bar with 3100kg braked towing capacity. Notable finishes include chrome door handles and exterior mirrors, leather-trimmed handbrake, ambient lighting and illuminated stainless steel front scuff plates.
