2016 Lexus LX 570 caught undisguised!

The facelifted 2016 Lexus LX 570 has been caught undisguised inside out ahead of its official debut in a few days.

Lexus’ updated Range Rover Sport challenger sports a hard-to-miss spindle grille nose flanked by a pair of reshaped headlights and boomerang-like fog lamps at the front. Down the side, we can also see a set of new alloys and tweaked side mirrors, while the side sills have also received some minor update.

At the back, the 2016 LX gets a new pair of LED taillights with chrome detailing, as well as reshaped rear bumper and a new roof-mounted spoiler.

The changes inside the four-wheel drive are even more extensive. Lexus has completely revised the dashboard, which is more modern and comes with a massive touchscreen infotainment system. There’s also a new three-spoke steering wheel and updated instrument cluster.

The car in the spy photo is likely to be a range-topping model, with rear seat passengers treated to two tablet-like displays.

We will have to wait till the official reveal to find out whether Lexus has tweaked the LX’s 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine. It produces 286kW and 546Nm in its current iteration, delivered to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission and Torsen limited-slip differential.

We can also expect more high tech gadgets and advanced safety technology to debut on the updated LX, including autonomous braking.
