2016 BMW 7 Series caught undisguised

A series of undisguised photos of the 2016 BMW 7 Series has posted on the net by Autobuzz, revealing the new model in all its glory.

As you can see from the photos, the new car will sport an evolutionary styling but gets a prominent grille flanked by a pair of laser headlights (likely to be optional).

At the back, BMW has given its flagship a rear end design inspired by the 6 Series. The taillights are connected by a chrome number plate garnish that extends into the light cluster.

Inside, we can see a new steering wheel design and a large infotainment screen. There have been reports that suggested the new model will have a new touchscreen for the passenger but we are none the wiser from the spy shots.

As reported previously, the 2016 BMW 7 Series will be offered with a range of petrol and diesel powerplants, with a range topping model powered by a 6.6-litre V12 engine borrowed from the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Wraith with 441kW (600HP). A plug-in hybrid variant is also likely.
